ON THE RADAR: JUNE 27 WEEKEND ON THE WEST COAST

(June 24, 2020) – Don’t call them Speedweeks but the California dirt track racers will have two opportunities to compete in multi-day events across multiple tracks, leading this week’s On The Radar!

Wednesday June 24:
Dixon Speedway kicks off the brand-new 2020 West Coast COVID Cup with five divisions of Micro Sprint racing. Drivers compete for Cup trophies and a weeklong championship with unique surfboard trophies. Steam: Fast Four Media

Marysville Raceway follows it’s new 2020 pattern of 360 Sprint Car races outside of their usual Saturday night dates, by moving their racing to Wednesday. It kicks off four consecutive days of 360 action across California. Steam: Speed Shift TV

Thursday June 25
Ocean Speedway in Watsonville brings in the 360 Sprint Cars for perhaps the only Thursday Sprint Car show in track history. Local Four Bangers and Hobby Stocks will have twin main events after a swell in car count at the season opener ran up against curfew. Steam: Speed Shift TV

Friday June 26:
Keller Auto Raceway Plaza Park hosts the second night of the West Coast COVID Cup for the Micro Sprints. Steam: Fast Four Media

Placerville Speedway kicks off the Nor*Cal Posse Shootout with a $1,500 to win 360 Sprint Car feature. Steam: Speed Shift TV

Diamond Mountain Speedway opens its weekend of racing with IMCA Sport Mods and IMCA Modifieds. Steam: Dirt Oval TV

Saturday June 27:
Madera Speedway starts its nine race MAVTV-televised Nut Up Pro Late Model and 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series on Saturday. The races will be streamed free on ShortTrackTV on YouTube

Placerville Speedway Nor*Cal Posse Shootout concludes with a $2,500 to win 360 Sprint Car feature event. Steam: Speed Shift TV
