DELTA SPEEDWAY ROARS INTO ROUND THREE WITH MORE MICRO SPRINT RACING ON THE DIRT
STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (May 13, 2026) – Delta Speedway welcomes Micro Sprint racers from across the west to Stockton’s San Joaquin County Fairgrounds for Saturday’s round three of the Micro Sprint championship season, with Super 600, Non-Wing, A-Class, Restricted, and Jr. Sprints racing on the card. The 40th season of dirt track racing at Delta Speedway features wheel-to-wheel racing, family-friendly ticket prices, and some of the best race track food in the country for a great night out for race fans in the valley.
Pit gates open at noon with the driver’s meeting at 4:30pm. Hot laps will follow. Spectator gates open at 5pm. General Admission tickets are just $10 for adults while juniors ages 6-12, seniors, and military are $5, and kids 5 & under are FREE! Pit passes are $25.
Fans who cannot attend the action in person can view flag-to-flag coverage on Fast Four Media, the speedway’s 2026 Pay-Per-View partner.
Saturday’s races serve as the final tune-up before the $10,000-to-win Mattix Salmon Memorial for Non-Wing, adding to the urgency for the area’s Non-Wing drivers to get their setups dialed before the marquee event hits the track.
Colton Key of Fresno has slid into a slight four point advantage in the wingless action ahead of 2025 champion Nikko Panella, with both drivers earning wins this season. Jeffrey Pahile, Brody Rubio, and TK O’Brien round out the top-five with a 30-lap feature on tap.
Raio Salmon of Fresno is enjoying a strong start in the Super 600 class to take a narrow one point lead over Andrew Smith of Castro Valley in the championship. Panella is third followed by Madera residents Jake Smith and former champion Logan Trevino. Super 600 also races for 30-laps.
Tracy’s Levi Osborne is riding momentum off his first Delta win to anchor the A-Class battle in a tie with young Dash Duinkerken of Laton. Round two winner Wade Boertje is third followed by Jason Maples and TK O’Brien.
Miles Boertje’s win in round two has placed the Visalia driver into the lead of the Restricted action followed by Haven Sherman of Citrus Heights, Connor Penix of Clovis, Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta, and Bryson Sozhino of Hanford. Both Restricted and A-Class compete in 25-lap features on Saturday.
Lucas Fenn and Lee Uzzell are tied among the battles for the track’s youngest drivers in the Jr. Sprints. Second-year pilot Santino Gonella of Petaluma is third heading into this weekend’s 20-lap event.
