MICRO RACING HEATS UP WITH SUMMER SIZZLER THIS WEEKEND AT DELTA SPEEDWAY

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (June 16, 2026) – Delta Speedway hosts its annual two nights of Micro Sprint racing to kick off summer on June 19 and 20 with the Summer Sizzler. All five championship points paying divisions of Super 600, Non-Wing, A-Class, Restricted, and Jr. Sprints compete both nights in complete shows. The event at the 1/7th mile dirt track at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds also pays points towards the coveted King of California championship. Photo by Denise Dell Photography

Drivers meetings are at 5:30pm Friday and 4:30pm Saturday with hot laps to follow. Spectator gates open at 5pm. General Admission tickets each night are just $10 for adults while juniors ages 6-12, seniors, and military are $5, and kids 5 & under are FREE! Pit passes are $25 daily.

Fans who cannot attend the action in person can view flag-to-flag coverage on Fast Four Media, the speedway’s 2026 Pay-Per-View partner. Friday’s racing also has a WEDG kart exhibition race scheduled to appear.

Super 600 features one of the most intriguing championship battles in many seasons with Raio Salmon of Fresno moving into the top spot by just seven markers over defending champion Nikko Panella. Salmon has yet to visit the winner’s circle this season but has finished second in all three features this year. The Super 600s race for 30-laps each night of the Sizzler.

Stockton’s Nikko Panella is on his way to defending the 2025 Non-Wing championship, leading the 2026 edition with a win and a second-place finish on his resume through three points races. Non-Wing also competes for 30-laps each night.

Levi Osborne of Tracy has just a two-point command of the A-Class standings against fellow Tracy pilot Kyle Fernandez. A-Class races in 25-lap features during each night of the Sizzler.

Bryson Sozhino of Hanford leads the Restricted tally by three points ahead of Haven Sherman of Citrus Heights. Female drivers have shined brightly in this class, with Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta in third and Samantha Dozier of Vacaville in fourth. Kevin Tikkanen ranks fifth in his first full-time campaign at Delta Speedway hailing out of Kingsburg, Calif.

Lucas Fenn is the top dog in the Jr. Sprints action after three points races this year. Santino Gonella and Logan Fenn will pursue Lucas in feature action both nights of the Sizzler.
