LAKEPORT SPEEDWAY APPROVED FOR JUNE AUTO RACES

(June 3, 2020 from Lakeport Speedway PR) – Lakeport Speedway has been approved to run auto racing at Lakeport Speedway on June 13 and June 20. However, due to the state-mandated social distancing directives, the grandstands will be closed to spectators. The events will be twilight shows with racing beginning at 4:00 pm. A Test and Tune practice session is also scheduled for Saturday, June 6 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Race teams are limited to a total number of 6 people (5 in addition to the race car driver), for all three events and will be escorted to a designated pit area.

Participants will be required to sign the standard waiver/release as well as an additional COVID19 waiver/release. All teams will pit 10 feet apart. Participants will adhere to the 6 foot Social Distancing requirement.

Pit fees for all three events will be $45 with a $10 discount for NCRA members.

Competing on June 13, the first event of the 2020 season, will be the NCRA Modifieds, Legends cars, the Taco Bell Bombers and the Pro-4 Modifieds. June 20 classes will be decided after the first race.
