Nikko Panella of Stockton remains the top driver in both the Super 600 and Non-Wing divisions with a 2025 sweep at the top of mind for one of Delta’s most accomplished drivers. Panella is pursuing his eighth and ninth championships of his career and aiming to repeat his 2022 sweep of the two premier divisions at his home track.

Panella’s Non-Wing margin is a scant ten markers win a single win to his credit this year. Fresno’s Mattix Salmon is in pursuit with four top-five finishes and one win as well. 2024 champion Jeffrey Pahule of Brentwood is just 13 points out of the lead as well. Manteca’s Brody Rubio and Stockton’s Vito Celli round out the top-five ahead of Saturday’s 30-lap feature.

Two main event wins have lifted Panella to a stronger 29 point cushion in the Super 600 action. Salmon is in the cat bird seat in the winged class as well from second in the championship. The top-four of the Super 600 is a family affair, with Nikko’s brother Alex in third in the standings while Mattix’s stepmom Raio is fourth in the standings. Isabel Barnes of Brentwood runs fifth while Celli is just five points outside of fifth as well. Super 600 also competes in a 30-lap event.

Landon Henry of Sacramento has represented his racing family well in the brand-new A-Class with the points lead. A rookie to Micro Sprint competition, Henry has a win this season and a sizeable 52 point lead. Tracy’s Kyle Fernandez is second followed by Vacaville’s Jackson Tardiff, Rancho Murieta’s Lucas Mauldin, and Bryson Sozinho of Hanford. Round six features a 25-lap main event for the new stock division.

2025 Hoosier Tire California Speedweek champion Briggs Davis of Manteca controls the Restricted class at Delta Speedway with a 22-point advantage. Two wins and four top-fives for Davis have propelled him ahead of Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta in second. Sozinho has had a brilliant double-duty season with fifth in A-Class and third in Restricted at this point of each battle. Connor Penix of Clovis has seen a strong leap from Jr. Sprints to fourth in the Restricted points. Brodie Copeland of Los Banos is fifth. Restricted races for 25-laps on Saturday.

Easton Wright of Martinez and Lucas Fenn of Oakley are having a heavyweight title fight in the Jr. Sprints with just two points between them in the standings. Samantha Dozier of Vacaville is third followed by Santino Gonella of Petaluma and Logan Fenn of Oakley. Delta Speedway’s youngest drivers take on a 20-lap race this weekend.
