PANELLA, HENRY, DAVIS, AND WRIGHT WIN 2025 DELTA SPEEDWAY CHAMPIONSHIPS

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (October 5, 2025) – Stockton’s Delta Speedway closed its 39th championship points racing season on Saturday night with Nikko Panella, Landon Henry, Briggs Davis, and Easton Wright winning the 2025 Micro Sprint racing titles. Other than Bakersfield’s Jett Yantis winning the Super 600 feature, the other four features were won by the track champions.

For Panella, he joins Brandon Carey, Caden Sarale, and Austin Wood as sweepers of both the winged Super 600 and Non-Wing divisions in a single season, an impressive accomplishment against the competition level that Delta Speedway delivers to the fans every weekend.

The Non-Wing competition at Delta Speedway attracted 29 entries to lead the pit area. Manteca’s Brody Rubio won the quickest qualifier before Fresno’s Mattix Salmon, Panella, and Rancho Murieta’s Lucas Mauldin won the heat races. Austin Lee of Placerville won the B-Main.

Panella shared the front row for the 30-lap feature with Rubio but made quick work of the battle for the lead. Panella earned his fifth Non-Wing checkered flag followed by Sarale, Mauldin, Springville’s Cameron Paul, and Rubio.

Bakersfield’s Jett Yantis fired off quickly in Super 600 action with a quick 9.774 second lap in time trials. Dalton Parreira of Hanford and Panella won the heat races. Yantis started the 30-lap feature in fourth but rocketed into the lead by lap four and never relinquished it. Panella finished second followed by Andrew Smith of Castro Valley, Australian Chad Bell, and Evan Dixon of Visalia.

The stock A-Class enjoyed a strong debut season in Stockton and that continued Saturday night with 21 entries. Parreira was the quickest qualifier and won the first heat race. Placerville’s Clay Mibach and Manteca’s TK O’Brien were the other victors.

O’Brien and Henry staged a marvelous duel for the top spot throughout the 25-lap feature with numerous crossover moves and slide jobs. O’Brien lost the handle in turn three on lap 19, spinning to a stop and thrusting Henry into the top spot. Henry never relinquished it over the final six laps for the win and the championship followed by Parreira, Colin Kirby of Pleasanthill, Dash Duinkerken of Laton, and Fresno’s Koen Shaw.

Briggs Davis dominated Restricted action in the season finale to complete a strong championship campaign. Davis led qualifying by over a tenth of a second. Mackcen Roush of Riverdale and Bryson Sozinho of Hanford won the heat races.

Davis started on the pole for the 25-lap feature and led wire-to-wire. Braxon Vasconcellos of Visalia finished second followed by Aubri Huckleberry of Visalia, Roush, and Dean Skrifvars of Castro Valley.

Easton Wright of Martinez needed a strong night to win the Jr. Sprints championship over Lucas Fenn of Oakley and he achieved the goal. Wright led all 20-laps of the feature for a walk off performance. Huxcen Roush finished second with Lucas Fenn in third. Wright also won a heat race while Roush won the other.

The King of California championships concluded on Saturday night as well with Yantis winning both the Super 600 and Non-Wing crowns. Parreira in A-Class, Huckleberry in Restricted, and Huxcen Roush in Jr. Sprints also prevailed.

The 2025 season at Delta Speedway concludes on October 24 and 25 with Turkey Bowl XXVI.
