Each main event pays $500 to win with a 20-car minimum car count. The race also serves as the final Delta tuneup before the Hoosier Tire California Speedweek.
Spectator gates open at 6pm on Saturday night and 5pm on Friday night. Nightly General Admission tickets are just $10 for adults while juniors ages 6-12, seniors, and military are $5, and kids 5 & under are FREE! Pit passes are $25 each night. Race fans are encouraged to arrive early and come hungry for delicious Royce Farms BBQ as well.
Fans who cannot attend the action in person can view flag-to-flag coverage on Fast Four Media, the speedway’s 2025 Pay-Per-View partner. Pit gates open at 2pm with the drivers meeting at 5:30pm on Friday. Pit gates open at 1pm with the driver’s meeting at 4:30pm on Saturday. Hot laps and qualifying will follow.
Stockton’s Nikko Panella leads both the Super 600 and Non-Wing championships, chasing a duplicate feat to his 2022 triumphs. The standings in each class look remarkably similar, with Panella leading Fresno’s Mattix Salmon by 28 markers in the Winged Super 600 division and 26 markers in the Non-Wing action. On the Super 600 side, opening night race winner Colton Key of Fresno ranks third followed by Brentwood’s Isabel Barnes and Colton Huelsmann of Knightsen.
In Non-Wing, Lucas Mauldin of Rancho Murieta is third followed by Brentwood’s Jeffrey Pahule and Manteca’s Brody Rubio. Both divisions will race in 30-lap features each night of the Sizzler.
Landon Henry scored a victory on May 18 to maintain his points lead in the all-new A-Class. Lucas Mauldin is second in the standings followed by Tracy’s Kyle Fernandez, Vacaville’s Jackson Tardiff, and Placerville’s Clay Mibach. The stock engine machines race in 25-lap features this weekend.
Briggs Davis of Manteca aims to be the latest driver to win both a Jr. Sprints and a Restrcited track championship in his young Delta Speedway career. Following a victory on May 17, Davis leads the standings by 16 points over Rancho Murieta’s Maya Mauldin. Bryson Sozinho travels north from Hanford each week for the Restricted racing and ranks third. Connor Penix of Clovis and Dean Skrifvars of Castro Valley are in pursuit as well. Restricted also competes in 25-lap feature races.
Despite a goose egg in the win column, Samantha Dozier of Vacaville has edged into the Jr. Sprints points leader by a scant four points. Dozier has scored ten podium finishes across California including one win at Lemoore in May. At Delta Speedway, Dozier leads Oakley’s Lucas Fenn, Martinez’ Easton Wright, Santino Gonella of Petaluma, and Logan Fenn of Oakley as Delta’s youngest racers charge into 20-lap main events for the Summer Sizzler.
