BAKERSFIELD SPEEDWAY AT KEVIN HARVICK’S KERN RACEWAY ANNOUNCES 2026 SLATE

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (December 29, 2025) – Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway has announced its 2026 schedule for the 81st season of dirt track racing in Kern County. The schedule represents the second campaign for the combined efforts of promoters Tim Huddleston and Scott Schweitzer at the one-third mile dirt track located at Enos Lane and I-5. 19 nights of competition are scheduled, kicking off February 20-21 with the Winter Clash. Friday night’s action lifts the curtain for the 2026 IMCA championships while Saturday serves as the season opener for the 2026 USAC Western States Midgets.

Another two-night show beckons on March 20-21 with the Southwest Shootout featuring complete nights of IMCA points racing action.

IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and American Stocks will compete for track championships. Visiting divisions include Racesaver 305 Sprint Cars, So-Cal Dwarf Cars, California Lightning Sprints, Mini Stocks, and much more. The Jason Leffler Memorial for the USAC National Midgets closes the season on November 24.

Special events include the Richie McGowan Memorial on June 27, the Mike Moshier Classic on August 29, the first-ever Night of Destruction on the dirt track on September 12, and the Budweiser Nationals October 9-10.
