ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY WELCOMES BEST LATE MODEL DRIVERS IN THE WEST FOR FIRST RESPONDERS NIGHT AUGUST 29th
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (August 19, 2026) – All American Speedway kicks off the most lucrative and busiest week of motorsports in the 72 year history of racing in Roseville on Saturday August 29. The SPEARS CARS Tour West brings over 40 expected Late Models to the track with over $80,000 in cash and prizes on the line under the lights on First Responders Night. Racing includes the CARS Tour Southwest Pro Late Models in the 125-lap JM Environmental Wild West Shootout for $7,500 to win. The CARS Tour Limited Late Models will battle for 100-laps for $4,000 to win while the Franks Radio Legends Tour West competes in a 30-lap feature for $1,000 to win. Photo by Mackenzie Naake
NASCAR Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks will also be competing on the one-third mile @the Grounds in Roseville. Tickets are available when the gates open at 4pm or at www.allamericanspeedway.com All tickets are general admission with adults admitted for $25. Kids ages 6-12 are $15. Kids five and under are FREE! Heat races start the program at 4:05pm Opening ceremonies are at 4:50pm with a salute to First Responders, followed by six main events.
The JM Environmental Wild West Shootout for Pro Late Models features the return to racing for Granite Bay’s John Moore and his son Cole Moore. Both suffered injuries in a private plane crash near Sonoma Raceway in May. Both Moores are All American Speedway former track champions making their first Southwest Pro Late Model starts, taking on a bevy of champions from all over the west. Multi-time All American Speedway champion Eric Schmidt returns to the track along with Madera Speedway champion Kyle Keller who is currently in second in the CARS West points.
Sharing the co-main event billing is the 100-lap Limited Late Model race, featuring even more champions and local regulars. 2026 All American Speedway Late Model points leader Kenna Mitchell of Loomis has 12 victories in Roseville this year. She also leads the CARS Tour West Late Model standings. Mitchell will have a highly anticipated face off with 2022 All American Speedway champion and 2025 CARS champion Dylan Zampa of Napa. The pair have combined for over 40 wins and six championships at the speedway in their careers.
2025 Madera Speedway champion Jay Juleson, 2026 Las Vegas Bullring champion Jeffrey Peterson, and 2025 Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway Late Model champion Tanner Huddleston are among the cavalcade of Limited Late Model title holders also roaring into town for the 100-lap race.
The event serves as the championship night for the All American Speedway INEX Legends with Rick Andersen of North Highlands leading the way. Manteca’s Chad Nascimento, Turlock’s Antonio Gonzales, Robby Czub of Rocklin, and rookie Tate Hegje of Lincoln round out the top-five. The 30-lap feature for the Franks Radio Legends Tour West includes points leader Logan Chambers of Bakersfield leading the pack.
NASCAR Modifieds, NASCAR Street Stocks, and NASCAR Mini Stocks will each compete in heat races and 30-lap features as well. The Modifieds are led by defending champion Tyler Wenworth while Tim Walters is ahead in the Street Stock battle. A narrow fight for the Mini Stock crown sees Vic Theberge of Citrus Heights in the lead.
Weekend activities begin on Friday with practice from 3:15pm to 8:30pm. Legends race in an optional INEX points feature at 7:50pm An evening pill draw party and dinner will be offered for Pro Late Model and Limited Late Model teams in the Attaway Pavilion at 8:15pm
Saturday pit gates open at 10am with practice beginning at 12:15pm. Grandstand gates open at 4pm for heat races. Opening Ceremonies are set for 4:50pm before the Wild West Shootout 125 kicks off the features at 5:15pm.
All American Speedway’s lucrative week continues the following Saturday on September 5 with the 28th running of the NAPA Auto Parts 150 for the NASCAR / ARCA Menards Series West along with championship night for the speedway’s four NASCAR divisions.
