MARYSVILLE RACEWAY SET FOR SUNDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN

(June 10, 2020 from Marysville PR) – With backing from Speed Shift TV, Marysville Raceway is hosting Point Race No. 4 this Sunday, June 14th. The race will feature the normal pay out for all divisions.

“We are thankful to Speed Shift TV for their continued support of our track and giving the drivers a chance to race, even as we are still unable to allow fans through the front gate,” Troy Hennig said. “Once again, the only admittance will be through our pit pate for the drivers and teams. We are still enforcing social distancing and following the guidelines set forth by the county. “

Pit fees are $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Pit gate scheduled to open at 2pm. Drivers meeting at 4:30pm. Cars on track by 5pm for wheel packing.

Winged 360 Sprint Cars, Pepsi IMCA Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks and Crate Sprints are the four divisions primed for a Sunday night showdown.

For those not wanting to attend, or those who cannot because the grandstands are closed, we encourage you to watch the races live at speedshifttv.com. The coverage includes three different camera angles and a professional style broadcast. You will need to sign up for an account and then decide on what package you would like to buy.

Disinfect equipment and vehicles prior to arrival at Raceway. Do not exit vehicle until inside gate to sign in. No personal vehicles in pits. Vehicle towing race car will be escorted to designated pit area to keep social distancing. Keep social distancing at the track staying six feet apart from other individuals. This means, if you show up together, stay together, do not wander into other team’s pit areas. Individuals must wash hands with soap and water and disinfect periodically with hand sanitizer. Face masks are strongly encouraged at this point but not mandatory. If a team member(s) is sick or displays symptoms of Covid-19, including fever 100.4 or greater, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat – STAY HOME.
